In Japan there are 295 industrial robots for every 10,000 manufacturing workers, while there are only 86 industrial robots for 10,000 manufacturing workers in the U.S. IEEE Spectrum Online shows a map and graph of robot density for the top 10 countries. There are more than 1 million industrial robots worldwide.
